The Conveyor Drives are manufactured with simple planetary principle. These drives are used in material handling industry.

Conveyor Drives are multistage coaxial Planetary Drive. Usually for speed reduction, input is given to Sun gear and reduced output speed is taken through planet carrier. Usually there are three stages of reduction. The reduced output of the 1st stage is taken by sun gear of 2nd stage through planet  carrier. The 3rd stage planet carrier is fixed to base and the final output is taken through the ring gear. Outer drum of the drive is rotating and power is transmitted through sprocket fitted on outer rotating body.
